Calculators that touch tax, insurance or investment decisions are simplified models. What a projection can and cannot do
Every result on this site is arithmetic applied to assumptions you supply. Assumptions about returns, inflation, costs and future tax rates are uncertain by nature, and small changes to them produce large changes in long-horizon results.
Investment returns are not guaranteed. Past performance does not indicate future results. No projection here should be treated as a forecast, a promise or a statement about what will happen.
Where a page shows a scenario band or a sensitivity table, it is illustrating how much the result depends on an assumption. It is not assigning probabilities to outcomes.
Accuracy
The calculation modules behind these tools are covered by automated tests, and worked examples are generated by running the tools themselves. Even so, the site is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose.
Quantus does not warrant that the site will be available without interruption or free from error. If you find an error, please report it to editorial@quantus.tool so it can be corrected.
